Created by Thailand’s National Artist Thawan Duchanee, the museum is made up of nearly 40 traditional-style black buildings surrounded by peaceful gardens. Inside, you’ll find paintings, sculptures, antiques, tribal crafts, and a variety of collections from around the world. Many buildings also display animal bones, horns, and skins, reflecting the artist’s distinctive style and inspiration.

Inside the Museum
Each building houses a different collection curated by Thawan Duchanee throughout his lifetime. Exhibits include:
- Original paintings and sculptures
- Antique furniture
- Traditional Lanna folk art
- Tribal baskets and handcrafted drums
- Silver and gold decorative objects
- Ancient artifacts collected from different countries
- Animal bones, horns, skulls, crocodile skins, and snake skins
