Driving yourself (rental car or motorbike):

  • Head north from Chiang Mai city toward Chiang Dao — follow Route 107 to Chiang Dao town first.

  • From Chiang Dao town, continue approximately 24 km on winding mountain roads toward Mueang Kong Village.

  • The road is paved but winding especially near the mountains, so drive carefully, particularly in wet condition.

 2. By Motorcycle

  • Most convenient if you want to explore at your own pace.

  • Allows scenic stops along the way.

  • A motorbike gives flexibility but consider comfort for a longer ride.
